CANCELLATIONS

Deposit sent upon reservation is non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.ECOPERUTOURS Travel Agency and Ecotourism shall be notified of any change or cancellation of your trip as soon as they become aware of them, through e-mail reservas@ecoperutours.com, info@ecoperutours.com.
2. Final balance once paid (in cash): We will not be able to refund your trip payment for cancellations.
3. A letter to claim to your insurance company can also be provided by us upon your request. VERY IMPORTANT (1): We suggest you stay at an altitude (above 3000 meters – as in Cusco or another high-altitude city) for 3 days (minimum) before starting the trip. This is in order to minimize the effects of altitude sickness. Also, you can help your body acclimatize by drinking plenty of fluids, adding a little more sugar to your drinks, consuming foods rich in carbohydrates, avoiding cigarettes and alcohol and consuming coca leaf tea (the traditional leaf of the Incas). Diamox may also be useful to consult your doctor for prescription. VERY IMPORTANT (2): It is also highly recommended to arrive in Lima or Cusco (depending on where you start your tour with us) at least 48 hours before your trip, there are usually cases of strikes or other events that happen out of our control and force us to start our tour earlier than planned (see above Force Majeure). Please also bring your travel insurance information (company name and policy number) for our records.
